An email list holds subscribers and supplies the default From / reply-to for campaigns.
Verify a marketing subdomain first. The list From must use that exact host (example: hello@news.acme.com). A transactional-only domain such as acme.com will be rejected here.
Create a list
- Go to Lists and click Create list.
- Enter a name and optional description (internal).
- Set default from name and from email on the verified marketing domain.
- Set reply-to if replies should go somewhere other than From.
If the From field errors, the address is not on a verified marketing domain — or you entered a full URL instead of an email.
After creation

Each list is independent. Subscribers belong to one list at a time; you can copy or move them with imports and automations.
